1939-D 50C MS67 PCGS. CAC. A lovely Superb Gem example of this conditionally elusive Denver issue, showing brilliant, satiny luster and unabraded surfaces. Liberty's branch hand and the eagle's trailing leg are a trifle soft, as usual for Denver half dollars from this period. PCGS and NGC each list two numerically finer examples (10/17).
