Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1947 50C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Jack Lee. The 1947's original mintage of over 4 million pieces is considerably lower than that of other P-mint Walkers from the 1940s. Still, its status as a final-date issue ensured that the 1947 survived in Mint State in significant numbers. On the other hand, the '47-P is quite scarce as a Superb Gem. This is simply a beautiful coin to behold. Both sides are essentially blemish-free and sharply impressed, with full mint luster shimmering beneath gold and powder-blue iridescence. Housed in a previous generation green label holder with CAC endorsement. Population: 82 in 67 (4 in 67+), 0 finer. CAC: 23 in 67, 0 finer (10/17).
Ex: ANA National Money Show Signature (Heritage, 8/2003), lot 6096.
