1879-S $1 Reverse of 1878 MS64 PCGS. CAC. Unlike its readily available Reverse of 1879 counterpart, the 1879-S Reverse of 1878 Morgan dollar is very scarce in MS64 and rare any finer. This is a brightly frosted near-Gem with a single spot of golden color on the eagle's breast. A bold impression and minimal marks are additional attributes. CAC: 82 in 64, 6 finer (10/17).
