1883-CC $1 MS67 PCGS. VAM-8A. A band of lavender, rose, orange, and blue-green toning visits the upper-left obverse. The remainder of this high-grade Carson City type coin is brilliant. Although the 1883-CC eventually emerged in quantity from the GSA holdings, relatively few such pieces are comparable in quality with the present exceptional Superb Gem. VAM-8A is an interesting variety with a clashed N in IN, a lightly repunched date, and a small dash below the second 8.
