Peace Dollars
1927 $1 MS65 PCGS. 1927 Peace dollars are elusive in MS65 condition, although they are considerably more available in Select Uncirculated and near-Gem condition. This coin is finer than that -- a full-fledged Gem, with a strong strike and few abrasions. We note two tiny reeding marks above IN GOD WE as the sole marks of note on the obverse. The reverse shows a few ticks and tiny field marks, but nothing of consequence. Silver luster outshines some faint traces of golden-gray patina. PCGS reports only 16 numerically finer pieces (10/17).
