1913-D $20 MS64 PCGS. Vibrant mint luster shines from rich, orange-gold surfaces of this sharply struck, Choice Uncirculated Denver double eagle. Lilac accents encircle the obverse, which shows a few tiny ticks but no heavy marks or abrasions. The strike is consistently sharp on both sides. Despite a reasonably preserved mintage of 393,500 pieces, Gem representatives are elusive, adding to the appeal of this near-Gem example.
