Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1922-S $20 MS63+ PCGS. CAC. The Saint-Gaudens double eagles from 1922 through 1928 are all plentiful if they were struck in Philadelphia, and rare if they were struck in Denver or San Francisco. The only exception to that rule is the scarce 1922-S and the common 1923-D. This piece is a lovely Select Mint State representative with frosty yellow-gold luster and considerable eye appeal. The reverse is rotated a few degrees clockwise.
