1938 50C New Rochelle MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Only 15,266 New Rochelle half dollars were distributed, unsurprising considering the issue's highly specific subject matter. Today, examples are collectible through MS67, but high-end Superb Gems are elusive and there are only a few finer MS68 examples available. Dusky powder-blue, lavender-gray, and golden patina lightly blankets near-pristine surfaces. Excellent visual appeal.
