The nymph Messana, holding kentron in right hand, reins in both, driving slow biga of mules left; in exergue, two dolphins confronted / Hare springing right; below, dolphin right; ME-Σ-Σ-A-NI-O-N around. Caltabiano series XV A, 626.1 corr. (D223/R239 – this coin, erroneously listed under wrong die combination); HGC 2, 795; SNG ANS 367 (same rev. die); Hunterian 12 (same obv. die). EF, deep cabinet tone. Well struck.
