ANGLO-SAXON, Secondary Sceattas. Circa 720-745. AR Sceatt (12.5mm, 0.97 g). Type 86a (Series K, type 32a/R mule). Uncertain mint. 'Wolf-worm' coiling left / Degenerate 'standard' with central pellet-in-annulet and pellet in each corner; all within pelleted circle. Abramson 42.10; cf. Metcalf 357; SCBI –; North 58/1; SCBC 830. VF, toned, some porosity. Very rare.
