Boydell and G. & W. Nicol, with the date 1803 below, PCGS graded MS61, RR. Presented presonally to the subscriber Sir Alured Clarke, whose name is engraved on the edge. Starting as Ensign, Clarke moved up from the ranks during his long career. He was in charge of the evacuation of Philadelphia in the Revolutionary War, Governor General of Jamaica, Acting Governor General of Canada, Commander in Chief of the British Forces winning the 4th Anglo Mysore War, and then Governor General of India.
