FATIMID: al-Mu'izz, 953-975, AR 1/5 dirham (damma) (0.33g), NM, ND, A-A702var, obverse legend (...?) / mansu(r) / (ma)'add, presumably refers to al-Mu'izz // legend around triangle, of which part is quite clearly amir al-mu'minin,, bold VF, RRR, ex M.H. Mirza Collection. The attirbution to the Fatimid Imam is tentative, as the style seems too early for al-Mu'izz. An alternative possibility is the much earlier 'Abbasid caliph al-Mansur (754-775), but that seems too early. Probably unique and unpublished, but struck from broad dies, so additional specimens will be needed to read the entire legends.
