Parthian Kingdom. Vardanes I. Ca. A.D. 38-46. AR tetradrachm (28 mm, 12 h). Seleukeia on the Tigris, S.E. 355 (A.D. 43/4). Diademed bust of Vardanes I left, wearing spiral torque / King enthroned right, receiving palm branch from Tyche standing facing, head left, holding cornucopiae; above, year (ENT); in exergue, month (off flan). Cf. Sellwood 64.20-27; cf. Shore 351-1. In an NGC slab without grade. Graffiti in obverse field. Very fine.
