Alfred LeBlanc and his American co-pilot Edgar W. Mix covered a distance of 866,867 miles and finished second behind the German team made of Oskar Erbslöh and his American co-pilot Henry Helm Clayton who covered 872,253 miles. However, the French team achieved a new world record for duration, 44 hours and 3 minutes in the air while the German team managed only 44 hours in the air.
