Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet pushed back on head, the bowl adorned with coiled serpent; Θ behind / BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΛEΞANΔPOY, Nike standing left, holding wreath in right hand and stylis cradled in left arm; EΠ monogram above Θ below wing to left. Price 3045. Red-gold toning on reverse enhances the already bountiful overall eye appeal. A kerykeion is expected in the left field for this issue. However, an oversized flan would be required to fully fit all of the legends and devices for this ample design.
