Laureate head of Apollo facing slightly right, slight drapery at neck truncation / IΔPIEΩΣ, Zeus Labraundus standing left, holding labrys (double-headed ax) in right hand and grounded long scepter in left, E below. SNG von Aulock 8046. Pixodarus Hoard 3. SNG Kayhan 880 variant (E in lower field). Minor flan flaw at bottom of reverse, otherwise a simply beautiful piece struck from an obverse die of superb style, with a riveting pair of eyes.
