ϷAONANOϷAO KA-NhϷKI KOϷANO, Kanishka standing facing, head left, wearing peaked Iranian cap with curved-pronged ornament on top, flames on shoulder, sacrificing over altar to left, and holding goad in right hand and scepter in left / MAO, Mao (lunar deity), lunar "horns" at shoulders, standing facing, head left, extending right hand in benediction and holding globe-tipped scepter in left arm; tamgha to left, dotted border.
