Congo Free State. Leopold II "R. D. Belges" 5 Francs 1887 MS66 NGC, Brussels mint, KM8.1, Dav-10. An impressive crown from all angles, with surfaces drenched in a pleasing mixture of gunmetal-grays and blush-tinged tones, showering the design illustrations in an array of color. The fields are almost entirely free of any sort of handling marks and the overall nature of this crown is outstanding. At the present time, this selection is currently tied with four other coins in this top certified designation at NGC, and as far as we are concerned, this may be the nicest example of the type that we have offered.
