Anhalt-Bernburg. Alexius Friedrich Christian 5 Taler 1796-HS AU58 PCGS, KM67, Fr-24. Some scattered hairlines, as well as a few light adjustment marks on the obverse and rub on the high points, but nonetheless a very attractive example of this relatively scarce type. Though occasionally sold raw in Europe, as far as we can tell, this is the first time that an example graded and encapsulated by a Third Party Grading service has ever been offered at auction.
