Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. Karl Eduard gold 20 Mark 1905-A MS61 PCGS, Berlin mint, KM172. Mintage: 10,000. One-year type. An extremely elusive issue with strong mint brilliance retained in the fields and no marks of major visual consequence. The reverse is particularly nice and showcases qualities that one often associates with a near-Gem. While we've offered several proof strikings of this date over the years, amazingly, this is our first offering of an example intended for circulation.
