Anne gold Guinea 1710 AU58 PCGS, Royal mint, KM534, Fr-320, S-3574. After the Union type, 3rd bust. A seldom encountered date, this exquisitely lustrous example features an enchanting golden-orange tone near the peripheries and only the slightest hint of gentle circulation and friction marks. Well struck along with being highly attractive and desirable. Compare to similar specimen, also graded PCGS AU58 (with a faint hairline scratch on the obverse) which realized a hammer of $6,500 in 2003.
