British India. Bombay Presidency copper Proof Pattern 1/2 Anna AH 1246 (1832) PR55 Brown NGC, KM-Pn23, Prid-204. This design was never adopted for circulation in 1832, but a similar design was used in 1834. Despite some flatness on the lions, most of the remainder of the design remains sharp and the surfaces are pleasing throughout with glossy chocolate brown coloration and no major marks. Overall, an attractive example that sure to excite due to its "rare" notation in Pridmore.
