Ferdinand VI 2 Reales 1752 Mo-M MS64 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM86.1. Blissfully argent and wholly pleasing, this near-gem strike exhibits a light golden tone near the peripheries. Exceedingly scarce to encounter in such a superb state of preservation, especially given the degree to which this type would have had the chance to circulate. For comparison, an NGC MS61 realized a hammer of $800 in our 2016 NYINC auction (sale 3039, lot 36071).
