Elizabeth II gold Proof 5 Pounds 1966 PR65 PCGS, British Royal Mint, KM7. A surprisingly popular type, we sold an NGC PR64 example in 2016 for $2,585. Based on the population figures from NGC and PCGS, it seems like PR65 is a difficult grade to obtain for this issue, with the majority of graded examples falling below that mark. As such, a good opportunity for the collector of modern gold issues.
