San Marino
Republic gold 20 Lire 1925-R MS64 NGC, Rome mint, KM8, Fr-1. A very rare piece, with an original mintage of 9,334 specimens, of which 7,334 were subsequently melted at the mint, leaving a final total of just 2,000 examples. Few can be considered to have survived to this level of preservation, and NGC's population proves just that, with only one having been graded finer. Highly lustrous and brilliant.
