Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1774 M-PJ AU55 PCGS, Madrid mint, KM409.1, Fr-282. A charming example of the type, exhibiting a hint of wear and minor striking weakness, but still with a bit of underlying luster. Some deposits within the date are noted, as well as a fairly extensive die crack running from above Charles' head well into the legend on the right. Additionally, a few light scratches between the 'E' and 'T' of ET are observed.
