Juan Carlos I gold Proof "House of Bourbon Tricentennial" 80000 Pesetas 1998-M PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC, Madrid mint, KM-Unl. (cf. KM1028). Series II. An elusive example of this popular "coins on coins" theme, displaying an old 1824-dated Bolivian 8 escudos of Ferdinand VII as the focal design on both sides. While we've been unable to find a published mintage for this issue, the other earlier type (KM1028), struck displaying a coin of Ferdinand VI, is recorded with a mintage of 1,248 coins.
