Confederation gold Lucerne Shooting Festival 100 Francs 1939-B MS66 PCGS, Bern mint, KMX-S21. Struck for the shooting festival at Luzern. Exceptionally preserved for the type, this coin certainly stands shoulders above the vast majority of its surviving peers; indeed, the population figures confirm this. Between NGC and PCGS, there have been a total of 195 examples graded; this is one of 17 that have been graded MS66 (combined from the two services) with just one finer. Quite desirable as such, and certainly worthy of a premium bid.
