Muhammad VI gold "Monnaie de Luxe" 250 Kurush AH 1336 Year 3 (1920) MS62 NGC, KM827. A glistening example of this rare two-year type. The strike is superb and the surfaces nicely prooflike with light hairlines. The Monnaie Deluxe or Harem gold coins were struck for presentation purposes at slightly different weights than the business series. This is the only example of the issue we have seen and it was previously sold in our Auction 3024 on April 18, 2013 where it realized a hammer price of $5,500 dollars.
