SICULO-PUNIC. Entella. Ca. 320-300 BC. AR tetradrachm (26mm, 17.00 gm, 5h). Choice AU, smoothing. Head of Arethusa left, wreathed in grain-ears, wearing triple-pendant earrings and pearl necklace, four dolphins swimming around / Horse's head left, a palm-tree behind, Punic legend 'MMHNT (People of the Camp) below. Jenkins (SNR 56) 188 (O55/R165). HGC 4, 284. SNG Fitzwilliam 1493. Some fine scratches from smoothing evident in reverse fields, otherwise a beautiful specimen, well struck from dies of extraordinary style and attractively toned.
