Tu Duc gold 2 Tien (1848-83) AU Details (Scratches) NGC, KM523, Sch-402B, Fr-31. Obv. Flaming sun between facing dragons. Rev. Four characters (Tu Duc Thong Buu) around square central hole. Crudely struck, as is normal for the issue, with the normal flan flaws one might expect. Both sides are lustrous, with light hairline scratches in the upper right reverse field. This type is called "Song Long," meaning meeting of the dragons. Extremely rare and this example is the Krause (KM) plate coin.
