Edward standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield; Є on banner at stern, rose on hull / Rose in radiant sun over floriate cross, crowns and lions in angles; large trefoils in spandrels. A bright example of this type, somewhat double struck with sharp central details and nearly full luster. The obverse is struck ever-so-slightly off-center, leaving just the upper tips of the lettering of the legends off flan.
