Charles I (1625-1649) gold Unite 1636-1638 MS62 NGC, Tower mint under the king, tun mintmark, S-2692, N-2153. A stunning example of this normally poorly produced issue. The details are struck much better than usual, with full, brilliant mint luster and only minor marks. Light flan flaws are noted and the die shows signs of extensive wear. A sparkling example and one of the finer examples of this type we have seen.
