A wonderfully toned set, struck in commemoration of the Golden Jubilee of Victoria that was celebrated on June 20th, 1887. Elite quality, most coins in the set display strong blue toning accented by hues of antique golden color. Individually, each coin remains highly reflective in the fields, with a strike that is fitting of presentation coinage. As the Gem grades suggest, all evidence of handling, however slight, remains almost entirely invisible to the eye. As a set, an undeniable 19th century classic.
