Diademed head of Demetrius right, within in laurel wreath border / Tyche seated left, holding scepter in right hand and cradling cornucopia in left arm, on backless throne with winged female monster (Tritoness) supporting; two monograms to outer left, ΞP (date) in exergue. HGC 9, 798. SC 1641.5b. DCA 109. A truly wonderful Hellenistic portrait, well struck from dies of the finest style on a broad flan and pleasingly toned.
