Paleo-Hebrew for the freedom of Jerusalem; bunch of grapes with branch and small leaf / Jerusalem across fields; seven-branched palm tree with two bunches of dates. Hendin 1439. Mildenberg 332, 156 (same dies). TJC 301. AJC II 276, 80. Green patina with earthen encrustation. Rather conservatively graded Very Fine Plus in Shoshana I catalog, this piece easily shows XF if not AU detail.
