British Colony. George VI Shilling 1946-H XF45 NGC, Heaton mint, KM23. Produced at the Heaton mint, and a notable key to the series as well as British West African coinage in general, showing moderate wear that has evenly affected the designs, and darker tone resting against the raised elements. Currently one of only two known examples in circulated condition, and perhaps an affordable option as such.
