Saxony. Albert 5 Mark 1902-E MS68 NGC, KM1256, Muldenhutten mint. Commemorating the Death of Albert. An absolutely stunning gem for which superlatives know no bounds. A captivating cartwheel radiance transfixes the gaze of the viewer, while a vibrant mélange of cobalt and magenta combine with hints of seafoam green and goldenrod to produce an shimmering, unreal rainbow effect. The surfaces are sublimely impeccable and iridescent, and it is immediately clear that this is a piece which cannot be improved upon. Indeed, the census at NGC and PCGS proves just that, with this specimen being the finest graded by either service. Worthy of immense adoration and consideration, and for museum-level coin cabinets.
