(S.2294; N.1827), somewhat short of flan as so often seen but nearly extremely fine, the full-length robed and seated image of the famous king boldly detailed and finer than usually seen, his royal shield crisply detailed at the centre, fine flan-crack, in all a pleasing example of this classic Tudor gold coin
