British Honduras Government of the British Honduras $5 1.10.1928 Pick 16. A wonderful, solid note printed in the style of contemporary British overseas possession notes. The deep green color which is still used for the $5 denomination today remains excellent, with the underprint clear and serial numbers bold. These features are juxtaposed wonderfully by the stainless paper. A wonder of a note, especially as it circulated in the unforgiving tropical climate. PMG Very Fine 25.
