These six notes make up the complete design set for the 2010 Issue and feature important Costa Ricans as well as Costa Rican wildlife. A number of security features are used including security strips, front-to-back registration devices, design elements that fluoresce under UV light, and watermarks. The lowest denomination is printed on polymer rather than paper. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ (5000; 50,000 Colones); Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ (20,000 Colones); and Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ (1000; 2000; 10,000 Colones).
