Missing Underprint Error Cuba Banco Nacional de Cuba 500 Pesos 1950 Pick 83. The brilliant pink underprint with repeating "Banco Nacional de Cuba" is glaringly missing from this higher denomination. Yet, the red inks of the serial numbers and seal of the bank remain deep, with light traces of intaglio still seen, indicating the underprint printing which was only printed on the face was skipped in error. A very elusive type that has seen service in commerce, but has not been identified until now. For the benefit of collectors, an accessible estimate will be used. PMG Very Fine 30. HID08701242017
