Cyprus Government of Cyprus 500 Mils 1.3.1957 Pick 34a. All of the dates from this issue are rare in uncirculated condition, with the 1957 the scarcest of the group. Research has shown this date, with the A8-A10 prefix was printed in a quantity of 750,000 notes, though not all of the notes were issued. Most of the final prefix never left the Treasury and was destroyed in the 1960s. An occasional About Uncirculated example has made an auction appearance, though few have featured the Premium Paper Quality designation. An earlier Cypriot issue that remains quite elusive in high grade. Bright, well margined PCGS About New 53PPQ, with minimal evidence of circulation. HID08701242017
