Philippines Banco Espanol Filipino 5 Pesos 1.6.1896 Pick A7a. While by no means common, the Pick A7 is one of the few notes from the Spanish Administration of these islands that is remotely encountered in public settings. At this same venue last year, we sold a similar example graded PMG VF 25 Net, with splits and toned paper for $3,290. The present example also displays splits, which have been repaired via archival tape. The note is still rather well intact, and given the infrequency with which Spanish Administration Filipino examples surface, the seasoned collector would be well advised to not let this PCGS Fine 15 example slip by.
