Syria, Antiochia ad Daphne (ad Orontem). Antiochos IV. 175-165/4 B.C. AE 22 (21.94 mm, 8.03 g, 2 h). Antioch on the Orontes mint, struck in or after 169/8 B.C. Radiate head of Antiochos right within dotted border / ANTIOXEΩN - TΩN / ΠΡOΣ ΔAΦNI, legend vertically downwards to right and left of Zeus standing facing, head left, holding wreath in outstretched hand, left hand on hip; ΠAO in monogram outer left field, AB outer right field. Spaer 1010; CSE 129; Babelon 628-30. VF, toned bronze highlights on devices, dark, black-green patina; obverse 25% off-center to south west, losing only part of border.
