Most notes for the Banco Nacional were printed by the American Bank Note Company like this example. The Eldorado Collection has this 1881 series complete in issued form. Assembling this issued set is a difficult task. This lowest denomination is rare and was once underrated. It is now appreciated for how tough it is to find. Though there are four small punch hole cancels, it is a choice example. Brown tint and back. Much finer than the Ward Collection note sold in June 2017. This is noted as previously mounted.
