A fourth fully issued note from this rare series. An 1887(?) issued note with five-line 1899 overprint on the back. Another beautiful layout and brown tint and back by the ABNCo. Both vignettes are from the American obsolete note series. Lower right, The Calmady Children, adapted from the Lawrence painting. Red straight-line "PAGADERO" surcharges on face and back. There is noted paper pull seen at the upper left corner of the face, otherwise this is a lovely note. PMG Choice Fine 15.
