This is the first note in an incredibly diverse selection of ten Banco de Bogotá overprinted notes for the 1899 Provisional Banco Nacional issue. This is overprinted on a Perkins, Bacon & Co. printed host note and has seen considerable use. Punch hole cancelled and previously mounted are noted. There is also some edge and internal damage. This lowest denomination note would have been required to make change and high grade examples are likely impossible to obtain. PMG Fine 12 Net.
