Another outstanding selection of 1899 Banco Nacional Provisional notes, these overprinted on American Bank Note Co. printed Banco Hipotecario, Bogotá remainder notes. A stunning piece from the face with agricultural vignettes originally engraved in the 1850s for American obsolete notes. Light brown tint contrasts nicely with the red overprinted seal. Brown back with 1899 text and large stamped signature. Punch hole cancelled and previously mounted are noted. The mounting is ever so slight. A beauty. PMG About Uncirculated 53.
