A third desirable 1899 Provisional note overprinted on an American Bank Note Co. printed Banco Hipotecario host remainder note (P-S514). Visually enticing with stupendous red-orange tint and back. A different style Agriculture at left and in the lower right a corn basket vignette originally engraved for the National Bank Note Co. and used on American notes. A well margined example and the 1899 overprint text is boldly struck upon the vibrant back. Punch hole cancelled and previously mounted are noted. The type is not priced in the SCWPM and this is among the finest, if not at the top. PMG About Uncirculated 55.
